Why I hate the term "Extended Breastfeeding"

According to research: "2.5 to 7.0 years of breastfeeding is what our children have been designed to expect. So if the natural, historical norm for breastfeeding is a lot longer than is typically done in our society, we should stop calling nursing a toddler "extended breastfeeding" and just call it "breastfeeding a toddler". Stop using a term that makes it sound unusual, or excessive!
