Hands Free Pumping!!!
July 30th, 2008 by Diane Sam
When I first came across Canadian mom-preneur Wendy Armbruster Bell's new "PumpEase" product, my first thought was "I wish I knew about this 4 years ago when I was pumping breastmilk for 15 minutes every 3 hours ....! I spend hours in the "pumping room" at Women's hospital, bored out of my mind, trying to figure out how to balance holding onto the breastpump and flick through a magazine at the same time... not easily done!!!
This product has one of those "duh.... why didn't I think of that ..." feeling to it, which in my opinion, makes it a great product! Not only is it remarkably practical, it is also cute, with fun designer fabrics. I'm also very excited about the PumpEase because Wendy's attitude is right online with the MoBoleez approach, as she says:
"Why is it that all the pumping paraphernalia currently on the market are designed to be so plain? (read frumpy). Is it really necessary to be so "serious" about the means by which we feed our children? Why not have some fun at the same time? Pump without the Frump!™"
Like the MoBoleez hat, her product is all about fun, non-medicalized breastfeeding! Go Wendy Go!

Thanks Diane! I feel the same way about Moboleez - if only I'd known about your product when I was breastfeeding - I never could keep that darn receiving blanket draped over my shoulder! The baby's head would move and the blanket would get pulled-off - too fussy for me! Your hat is ingenious and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to any new mom!
