Typical Canadian Sense of Humour?

June 12th, 2007 by Diane Sam

Yesterday, a friend said to me that my hats reflect a "typical Canadian sense of humour".  I had to laugh, because I guess I am the typical Canadian girl (whatever that is, eh?), and I think I have a sense of humour, so there you go!

But, really, is there a typical Canadian sense of humour? What is it? My main goal in creating these hats is to put a smile on the face of the nursing mom, so of course the hats have to be fun. But, I was careful to create something that was gentle, polite, and reflected the intimacy between mother and child. Is that typical Canadian? funny and polite? genteel yet cheeky?
